Travel Diary: Honduras, Belize, & Mexico

Hello, lovely readers!

I was reflecting today about my experiences traveling, and how much I love it. I feel like travel is such an important part of life, and if done properly, it doesn't have to be overly expensive. Granted, it can be harder to travel on a budget, but luckily there are resources out there to help a traveler on a budget.

Anyway, one trip that I took in December of 2014 that was amazing was a cruise to South America. Typically, I feel that it is better to travel like a native and not like a tourist, but I had an opportunity to take a cruise with lots of family members, so I jumped at the chance. I was able to visit Honduras, Belize, and Mexico.

I have always loved the ocean and little seafaring towns. It was really nice to visit a similar place.

These photos were taken at a restaurant on a hilltop overlooking the ocean. It was such a beautiful view with very yummy food!

Another part of traveling that I really enjoy is perusing local shops. I love seeing the artwork, clothing, jewelry, and craftsmanship that goes into creating handmade items.
